Nexleaf’s top priority was preparing for its upcoming growth by making sure it has the right organizational structure and operating model in place. Nexleaf partnered with Rippleworks to design its organizational structure to effectively manage current and future operations as the team expands with new product offerings.
Nexleaf’s sensors monitor safe vaccines for over 12.6 million babies every year and transition over 900 homes to clean cooking solutions.
Nexleaf teamed with Rippleworks Expert Joe Kennedy, who has led scaling teams as the CEO of Pandora (2,200-person public company), COO of E-Loan, and VP Sales of Saturn. Together, they:
• Defined Nexleaf’s organizational structure with new and redefined roles, and revisted reporting lines to better manage decision-making at the executive level and within each team
• Learned and executed best practices of interviewing and deployed an applicant tracking system to uplevel Nexleaf’s overall hiring process
• Identified need for Director of HR, and created the candidate profile, job description, and hiring plan
