GGEM partnered with Rippleworks to revise their value proposition and core messaging to unlock new opportunities in the climate change sector.
GGEM aims to empower smallholder farmers in Malawi, who are crucial to the nation’s agriculture yet face challenges in maximizing yields and securing fair prices for their produce. GGEM addresses these challenges by offering training, finance, and access to fair markets. GGEM’s also aims to develop an ethical market platform to support more farmers and address multiple areas of the agricultural supply chain.
One of GGEM’s top priorities going into the project was identifying opportunities for funding and partnerships in the climate sector.
GGEM partnered with Caitlin Inglehart, a marketing leader with 18+ years of experience designing marketing strategies and launching products for mission-driven software and data products. Together, they:
• Identified GGEM’s brand, value proposition, and positioning.
• Discussed GGEM’s messaging to more effectively tell their climate story for greater impact and future funding opportunities.
