Building Tomorrow is a community-powered organization that harnesses the potential of local changemakers to connect learners across rural Uganda with transformational educational programs. Their innovative at-home, in-school, and community-based literacy and numeracy initiatives are improving student learning outcomes.
One of Building Tomorrow’s top priorities going into the project was improving their decision-making structures as they prepare to scale their operations to a new country.
Building Tomorrow partnered with George Roter, a strategic leader and advisor with 20+ years of experience in organizatonal design and open innovation. Together, they:
• Facilitated an in-person executive team retreat to drive strategic clarity, set priorities, and make decisions that would help Building Tomorrow scale.
• Revised Building Tomorrow’s org design to improve the effectiveness of their executive team.
