Amazon Conservation Team partnered with Rippleworks to launch the their innovative Land Fund with world-class product marketing.
The Amazon Conservation Team (ACT) was founded with a mission to work with indigenous and local communities to protect the Amazon. Since the beginning, ACT’s decisions have been guided by close consultation with their partner communities, particularly the elders, who have defined their priorities in the fight for ancestral land rights and protection. ACT serves 134 indigenous groups across 8 countries, and they have legally registered 1 million hectares of forest area that are now under effective formal control by indigenous and local communities.
One of ACT’s top priorities going into this project was preparing for the launch of their Land Fund campaign with world-class marketing.
ACT partnered with Allison Rona, a senior product marketing leader with experience driving successful product launches and enabling sales teams. Together, they:
• Learned best practices of product marketing to define a g0-t0-market plan
• Defined value statements of ACT’s focus in territorial justice
• Designed messaging for video, email and social media campaigns
